Class Blog 12-2 and 12-4

For our last two class meetings our groups got together to discuss and work on our final projects. Our group finished our lesson plan and powerpoint and submitted them through D2L. We also divided up each part and found standards to fit our lesson.

Class Blog 11-25

Today was a great experience. We traveled to Elk Point to judge the school science fair. We began the day by getting our name tags and experiencing a school lunch. After that we were briefed on our expectations for each grade as judges. After the discussion we went out to see the projects, there were a lot of different projects at a wide variety of levels. I enjoyed a project called "Flushed Away" where a girl tested papers and their durability and resistance to water to see which would be ok to flush down toilets. Overall, it was a great experience and I learned a lot. It was definitely a fun experience to have embedded within the course.
